Do You Belong Here?

When I launched Sparta Success Systems in 2004, I took a booth at the NAR convention in Orlando that year. I did it to raise awareness of my company and products, but I also did it to make sure that I had clearly defined my niche and could communicate it effectively to agents. And boy did I! When I articulated my elevator pitch, immediately people either said "Really? Tell me more" or they said "I don't want to get to know my clients better, I just want to sell them a house."

People Who Don't Belong Here

If you're one of those people who would have told me that you didn't want to get to know your clients better, you just wanted to sell them a house, then you're not my client. There are trainers in the world for you, I'm just not one of them. My clients are all about the relationship and they care deeply about their clients - before, during and long after the sale.

What Defines Us

The people who come to us are really great people. These are the people whom others refer to as "the salt of the earth". They:

  • Strive to always act with integrity
  • Are very relationship-based in their approach to the world
  • Are independent people by nature, but they have a longing for community
  • Have a strong connection to their spiritual nature, although they are not necessarily religious
  • Believe in good karma, even if they don't call it that
  • Are highly intuitive people, and they are sensitive to other people's feelings--many are empathic
  • Are people-pleasers and problem solvers
  • Hate conflict, but will engage it when necessary
  • Like being needed
  • Are most touched by a few sincere words of appreciation from clients, coworkers, and loved ones
  • Have a strong sense of right and wrong and high ethical standards
  • Believe in giving back to their community either through volunteer work, donations, or other support
  • Recycle - they don't like to waste anything--connections with people or natural resources.
  • Want to be liked (preferably loved) by everyone
  • Are fascinated by the inner workings of the mind and want to know what makes people tick
  • Believe that there are merits to the ideas in "The Secret" and have probably been practicing the law of attraction for many years before ever seeing the movie
  • Sell real estate more for the joy of helping people than for the money
  • Are gracious and generous with friends and strangers alike
  • Make people around them feel welcome
  • Give of their time and energy
  • Are team players
  • Play by the rules, but think outside of the box
